About the Project
This project focused on redesigning the account creation and first deposit flow for bet365 — a critical journey that directly impacts user onboarding and conversion.
The existing experience needed to be modernised while remaining compliant with strict regional betting regulations. The flow also needed to support country-specific data requirements, validation rules and error handling, all within a responsive experience across devices.
My Role
I worked as a UX/UI designer on the redesign of the sign-up and first deposit journey.
My responsibilities included rethinking form structure, improving usability and clarity, and contributing to the design of reusable components used across the flow.
My Approach
The focus was on reducing friction and improving comprehension in a complex, form-heavy experience.
I worked to simplify layouts, clarify instructions and ensure error states and validation messaging were clear, direct and accessible. UX copy played a key role in helping users understand what was required at each step, particularly where regulatory or country-specific information was involved.
The designs were created to be fully responsive, ensuring a consistent experience across mobile and desktop.
