Patina Cafe Website Redesign
UX/UI and web design redesign for a café website, focused on improving clarity, usability and overall brand presentation.

About the Project
Patina is a café that needed an updated website to better reflect its brand and improve the overall user experience.
The existing site lacked structure and clarity, making it difficult for users to quickly find key information such as the menu, location and opening hours. The goal was to create a more considered, easy-to-use website that worked across devices and felt aligned with the café’s identity.
My Role
I worked on the UX/UI and web design for the Patina website redesign, covering layout, structure and visual direction.
The project involved rethinking how information was organised, improving usability, and creating a cleaner, more cohesive design that suited the café’s tone and audience.

My Approach
The redesign focused on simplicity, hierarchy and ease of use.
I reviewed the existing website to identify usability issues and areas of confusion, then restructured the layout to prioritise the most important content. Clear navigation, improved spacing and a more refined visual system were used to create a calmer, more intuitive experience.
The design was developed with responsiveness in mind, ensuring the site worked well across desktop and mobile.
What Was Created
UX/UI design for a redesigned café website
Improved layout and content hierarchy
Responsive web design for desktop and mobile
Visual refinements aligned with the café’s brand
Result
The redesigned website provided Patina with a clearer, more professional online presence.
Key information became easier to find, the overall experience felt more considered, and the design better reflected the café’s brand — supporting both first-time visitors and returning customers.
